I came across the video above on YouTube and, by pure serendipity, realized that I had previously taken a photograph at the Flymuseum Sola of an early German Flightradar SG227a. That immediately sparked the idea: why not use it as the enclosure for this very nice little ESP32 project?
The project was published by Tech Talkies and is available on GitHub:
One particularly nice feature is the firmware flash installer, which made the setup very straightforward, as no coding was required.
