How to install

Flying > Flightsim > FSX Autopilot
Files

HAPX.DLL into FSX main folder

AS532AFCP.GAU into FSX gauge folder

PANEL.CFG into the default Bell 206 panel folder, make a backup of the original first.

HAP.CFG into the default Bell 206 main folder

HAP.CFG can be adjusted to the individual helicopter, for example Hover Hight.

PANEL.CFG there are no spaces allowed in the line with the path to the HAP.CFG

Example panel.cfg

//--------------------------------------------------------
[Window06]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=300,360
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=0
visible=1
ident=81
window_size= 0.300, 0.360
window_pos= 0.650, 0.360

gauge00=AS532AFCP!Annunciator,0,0,300,110
//NO SPACES ALLOWED BEFORE THE CONFIG FILE
gauge01=AS532AFCP!AFCP,0,112,300,134,c:\HAP\hap.cfg
//NO SPACES ALLOWED BEFORE THE CONFIG FILE
gauge02=AS532AFCP!GS,0,247,300,113

//--------------------------------------------------------

HAP.CFG

How do you know that the path for the HAP.CFG is correct?

Using the lift off function, you get a hover, then transition out to 40 kts. At 40 kts the VS & IAS functions activate. However, if they set themselves to 0 Kts & 0 Feet per minute the path is not correct and the HAP.CFG is not loaded.

There is an easy way to solve problems with the HAP.CFG. Put the file into a folder on your drive "C" like "C
:\HAP\hap.cfg"

PATH

The path to the HAP.CFG needs to be in the old DOS style.
